The small Costa Maya cruise port, famous for the largest Mayan ruins is located in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula south of Playa del Carmen, near Belize. The port is located approximately 130 miles south of Cozumel. This area isn’t as developed as some other ports, but it still offers a lot for passengers to do.

cozumel mexico tours
Cozumel

Renowned for its fine coral reefs and beach-scattered coastline, Cozumel is largely undeveloped in its central core where emerald jungles and swampy lagoons are home to endemic birds and butterflies. A noteworthy national park and several ecological reserves provide shelter for rare and endangered wildlife species.

cayman tours
Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands are best known for two radically different offshore activities: banking and diving. The rich reserves within those protected vaults arguably pale beside the treasures of the bejeweled coral reef system ringing the three islands, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman.

We had absolutely an amazing time snorkeling with Roatan Five Stars. Our guides were the best when it came to our kids. So incredibly helpful and also so much fun. I think the kids had more fun jumping off the top deck of the boat than snorkeling. Regardless it was an incredible experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit on 17 April 2024. Reny was our driver. He was so funny and so nice. First we visited the sloths, monkeys, parrots and other animals. Then Reny drove us to meet the boat which took us out snorkeling. We snorkeled at three different locations off the coast of Roatan. The first location, we saw huge starfish (sea stars). The second location was at a 600 foot drop off. It was stunning! Third location was at a ship wreck which occurred over 100 years ago. They also fed us watermelon and the BEST banana bread ever. The whole Roatan Five Stars team were wonderful and professional. Thank you Reny for a fantastic experience!

We found Roatan Five Stars from a YouTube video. We booked it for an excursion from our cruise ship port and couldn't be more pleased. The tour met right outside the port. We had a guide assigned to just take us around and he was great! He took us to other points of interest and told us all about the island (shout out to Enrick!). The snorkeling was tons of fun. Water was beautiful and clear. Their boat takes you to 3 different locations. The staff made sure everyone was safe and taken care of (and given snacks). Finally we stopped at the animal park where we got to hold sloths. That was one of the coolest things ever - they are so cute and chill. We got to interact with birds and monkeys as well. I'd highly recommend five stars. They were a great tour company.

We had so much fun on our tour! We were travelling with an almost 1.5 year old and was finding it difficult to secure a tour that was flexible, but when we found this company it was just what we were hoping for! From the start, the process was easy, and they are VERY responsive & informative. Mary answered my questions quickly and with detail. One our actual tour, we stopped at one of the monkey/sloth/macaw excursions, a chocolate factory, a small craft market, the rum factory, Roatán sign & did a drive through the towns. Our driver, Denzel, was great! He was so much fun & super chill, and so good with our son even though he is a hurricane! Definitely ask for Denzel if you get a chance! Overall we were very happy with the process and the tour, and found it very convenient that we could pick and choose which stops we wanted to do or decline with the baby. Just a note to fellow cruise ship passengers: when you get off of the boat, you go right on the dock where it says “Shore excursions”, follow all the way to the tour buses, go passes those and right out the gate to get to where you need to go. There’s tons of other tour guides that will help you if you feel lost! Thank you Denzel for a great trip, Roatán was beautiful and hopefully we’ll be back when our son is a little older! We wish you luck with your family and their adventures!

My family and I absolutely LOVED our day in Roatan! Thanks to our driver, Enrick, we were able to see most of the island. We stopped at the monkeys and sloths, then we went on an awesome snorkeling adventure. It was the best day ever, and we can’t stop talking about it! If you are ever in Roatan, then Roatan Five Stars is the place to go!!!!
